Border Town is a bar that started brewing beer a while back, and just so happens to be located in my little hometown. I was home for a annual festival / family reunion and with some time to kill before the parade we decided to give their beer a try. I was disappointed, we tried a few beers and the diacetyl made them hard to finish. Seeing they’re using a small homebrew setup and some conical fermenters from SStech – I assumed they were having issues with pitching rates and temperature control. I couldn’t recommend having a beer there, but when I’m in town again next summer I may have one to see if they’re doing any better.
