After visiting Cademon, we got a tip from the bartender that a new brewery had opened up a few weeks ago nearby, and they made pizza. We decided to swing by and check out the beer and food.
Forge has a decent sized tap room and their brew house is right in the middle of the seating area, which was a bit different. We found out they’d only been open about 6 weeks, so they only had a handful of beers on tap to try; a saison, english mild, porter and a rye. We had a flight and ordered a pizza. The beer was good, no exotic/experimental flavors that get me excited, but very drinkable. The pizza wasn’t bad either. Certainly worth a visit if in the area, and I’d be interested to see what they’re up to in a few years.
